AP Board Class XII exams 2021 postponed after Andhra Pradesh HC order

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government on Sunday (May 2, 2021) announced that the Class 12 board examinations are being postponed in the view of rising COVID-19 infections in the country.  The announcement comes days after the Andhra Pradesh High Court urged the state’s education board to reconsider its decision. The state government is scheduled to submit an affidavit on the issue in the court by May 3.  Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said, “In the view of Andhra Pradesh High Court’s observation, we have decided to postpone the Class 12 board exams which were to begin from May 5.” 

UP Board Exams 2021: Uttar Pradesh Board Class 10, 12 Exams Postponed

Image credit: Shutterstock New Delhi: UP Board 10th, 12th Exams 2021: Due to a steady increase in COVID-19 cases, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to postpone Class 10 and Class 12 UP board examinations and has said that the new dates will be decided in May after reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the state. For students of Classes 1 to 12, classroom teaching will remain suspended till May 15. No exam will be held during this period, the government has said. The UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations will be held after May 20 and the new time table will be decided in the first week of May.

Madhya Pradesh Board Exams for Class 10, 12 postponed amid COVID-19 surge

Highlights The exams will be conducted in June It was earlier scheduled to begin on April 30 New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh government has postponed the board exams for Class 10 and 12 in view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the state and across the country. The exams will be conducted a month later than the original schedule, that is, in the month of June. The decision was taken on the instructions of School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar in order to ensure the safety of the students. The High School, Higher Secondary, Higher Secondary (Vocational), Diploma in Pre School Education, Physical Training Journalist examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education will now be held in June.
