well as inflation. the democrats, though, pessimistic about the house. still feel like they can keep the senate, the 50/50 format, and could come down to pennsylvania, and tonight, we got a real debate. tonight does matter. it s john fetterman and mehmet oz in pennsylvania. it seems, give us your analysis as to what each candidate needs to do. well, it s really fetterman s race to lose at this point. you know, he is up in the polls, you know, a small margin, but he s up. and, you know, he has to address lingering questions over his health and the way to do that is going to be in a nationally televised live debate, so if he comes on that stage and he can show that he is very sharp and he is responding to these, you know, criticisms from the oz camp, it s going to be a very you know, if he can maintain that strong performance he s going to come out of it. he doesn t need to blow oz away in this debate. he needs to hold his own and
republican mehmet oz, vowing to replace pat toomey, the latest cnn poll has fetterman leading by six points among likely voters, and they will debate tonight in the race for pennsylvania s governor, democrat josh shapiro, holding a 15 point lead over republican doug mastriano who was at the united states capitol during the attack on january 6th. in wisconsin, that same cnn poll shows incumbent republican senator ron johnson and his democratic challenger, mandela barnes statistically tied, 50-49 is johnson s lead. and tony evers and tim michels, deadlocks. in michigan, the cnn poll gives gretchen whitmer a six point lead over republican tudor dixon. two new polls showing a dead heat in the race to fill ohio s open senate seat. according to the latest spectrum
law kicks in automatically in pennsylvania when the margin of victory is .5% or less. right now oz s lead is .1%. the question is if there are enough uncounted ballots for mccormick to surpass oz and it won t be answereded for some delays. 31 precincts experienced memory stick failures and the voting machines in the precincts had to be delivered to a central facilities where the voting data will be extracted. we re told they re waiting on data from 10 or 10 precincts. at 9:00 a.m. today the county election officials will begin reviewing provisional and military and uncounted ballots. poll workers are sifting through 22,000 ballots by hand after a printing error in lancaster county made them unscanable. the oz camp feels cautiously
this were about 17,000 absentee ballots to be counted. at 5:00, you can see that after majority of those recounted, we still have that that lead is a couple hundred. he only gained a couple hundred votes. mccormick camp says it will go their way. oz camp says they re cautiously optimistic. take a listen to the candidates last night on fox news. our campaign had put a lot of energy and time in to focus on the absentee voters and focusing on our ground game. so that has paid off big dividends. there s a huge number of absentee ballots which we re winning disproportionately. this election is ours. we have done well.
