Oxnard woman dies after being stabbed by husband in home
OXNARD, Calif. - An Oxnard woman has died after being found fatally stabbed by her husband in her home Friday night.
Police said they responded to reports of a stabbing victim on the 1100 block of West Hemlock Street around 9:55 p.m.
Upon arriving, they found 27-year-old Karla Cabrera suffering from multiple stab wounds in her home. Officers were told that Cabrera s husband had stabbed her before running from the residence. Police said other family members including the couple s two small children were inside the home at the time of the incident.

A 39-year-old Oxnard man died after he was stabbed multiple times on Tuesday night, according to the Oxnard Police Department.
The victim was reported around 6:15 p.m. in the 5500 block of Cypress Road across from East Clara Street. The location is part of the Cypress Gardens neighborhood on the southeastern edge of the city.
Police arrived on the scene of an abandoned agricultural lot to find the victim suffering multiple stab wounds. By the time paramedics arrived on scene, he had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The victim was stabbed with some kind of edged weapon or sharp object on the premises, according to Sgt. Edgar Fernandez, of the Oxnard Police Department s Major Crimes Unit.

OXNARD, Calif. - A 16-year-old Oxnard boy has died after he was shot several days ago.
The teen, who was not identified, was taken off life support following several days of hospitalization, the Oxnard Police Department said.
On April 29, at around 8:35 p.m., the teen was found on the 200 block of James Avenue with suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition.
On May 6, he was taken off life support and pronounced dead.
The Oxnard Police Department Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation. Police said there are currently no suspects.
