Bus drives through floodwaters in Howard County Published HOWARD COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ) A school bus became stranded on a flooded road in Howard County on Tuesday. The Sheriff s Office said in a Facebook post that it happened on Route Z. The bus involved was not from a local school district. Student Transportation of America spokeswoman Jen Holzafel confirmed the bus did get stuck in flood waters off route Z and was also able to confirm no students were on board at the time.
