A 24-year-old Scarborough woman has been charged with assault causing bodily harm after biting a restaurant worker in Owen Sound Thursday afternoon.
According to an Owen Sound Police news release, a female suspect refused to follow the directions of the upper-eastside eatery’s staff member and instead threw a bucket of ashes and cigarette butts inside the restaurant.

In response, a male staff member attempted to detain the individual. The woman then bit the man in the arm and fled from the area in a vehicle, police say.
