Telangana and Rajasthan have recorded 32 JN.1 cases each, Chhattisgarh has recorded 25, Tamil Nadu 22, Delhi 16, Haryana five, Odisha three, West Bengal two and Uttarakhand one.
The new cases have pushed the active caseload to 4,309, the data updated at 8 am stated. The country also reported three new deaths due to the virus, with one fatality each in Kerala, Karnataka, and Bihar.
Kerala reported the highest number of cases in last 24 hours with 128, followed by Karnataka with 96 and Maharashtra with 35. Delhi registered 16 new cases in the same period.
