“In order to maintain an adequate level of pension benefits, retirement pensions were recalculated. They were increased by 7% on 1 March 2022 and by 10% on 1 August 2022. On 1 December retirement pensions will be revised upwards for the third time and will grow by 5%,” said Roman Golovchenko.
Belarusian economy is on the trajectory of recovery growth, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said during a meeting with deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic.
“Since the beginning of the year, the monthly minimum wage has been increased by a total of 15.6%, and on 1 January it will rise by another 14.7% to amount to Br554. The government will formalize this decision in the near future,” Roman Golovchenko said.
"This year we have made decisions to revise upward the base wage rate for state employees and the base salary for civil servants and military three times. In general, they have been increased by 7% and 14.5% respectively,” said Roman Golovchenko.
"Since the beginning of the year, the Belarusian ruble has strengthened against the euro by 13.3%, against the U.S. dollar - by 5%. The Belarusian ruble is an attractive currency for savings," the prime minister added.
