Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Taavi Aas (Center) told ERR that the Center Party did discuss his return to the Riigikogu, while it has now been decided he will continue in his post.
The war in Ukraine is having a negative impact on the Center Party's rating, but a bigger concern right now is maintaining the peace in Estonia, which means calling off the witch hunt and putting an end to pushing the country's Russian-speakers to a point we don't want them to reach, Center board member and MEP Yana Toom told ERR on Wednesday.

Amendments to Estonia's main immigration law which had been on the table for over a year-and-a-half and across two administrations, and whose provisions required altering to take into account the arrival of Ukrainian war refugees in Estonia, passed its final Riigikogu reading on Monday, with 61 votes in favor and 30 against.
The Center Party parliamentary group is nominating MP Marko Šorin to replace Oudekki Loone as a member of Estonia's delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
