Police prosecutor, Inspector Jacob Akintunde, disclosed that the defendant, who resides at Ido-Osun, had between August 2020 and January 2021 raped his daughter severally before he was arrested by the police. He noted that the offence of unlawful sexual intercourse contravened Section 31(1) (2) of the Child’s Rights Law of Osun State 2007, while unlawful carnal knowledge is contrary to and punishable under sections 214(1) and 360 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. Il laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.

Osun school owner, others arraigned for result forgery

Others also arraigned with him; Omolara Adams and Toheerat Adeleke, were said to have conspired and forged a basic school certificate. The police prosecutor, Kayode Adepoju, told the court that the offences were committed at No.1, Diamond Avenue, along New Owode Road Abere, Osogbo on January 25, 2021, when the defendants conspired to forge the result. Adepoju also said Omolara had tricked Toheerat into paying a sum of N5,000, promising to enrol her for the Basic Education Certificate Education, which she failed to do.

The 23-year-old Lawrence had allegedly broken into the residence of Fateye and stolen some of her personal effects and money. The police prosecutor, Abiodun Fagboyinbo, while addressing the court, said Olayemi, in December 2020 in Ilesa-Ijesha, entered the residence of Fateye and stole mobile phones valued at N150,000. Fagboyinbo also alleged that the defendant stole an ATM card belonging to the woman and withdrew a sum of N305,000 from her account.
