Actually, i didnt talk about this today, but i actually went to law school, got a law degree as well because i was thinking that i dont want to do medicine, i want to do health policy, i want to be in government, i want to be in the middle of things. But then i took a step back because i realized i really liked seeing patients. There was something about being able to connect with people and making a difference this peoples lives that you cant replicate it in so many other areas of life. Despite all the hard work, thats what brought me back to it. It sounds like something you might read on a hallmark card, but there was something valuable that brought me back into medicine.
