A new project near Oro Dam Boulevard and 14th Street broke ground on Monday.
Soon more than 60 affordable apartments will be built in the area, however, this has some people in the community a little concerned.
“How it s going to end up being after a year or so after it s done being built, and it s probably just going to go downhill, people not taking care of stuff,” said Brandon Gentoy, who lives near the area.

CHP arrested a driver and a passenger Wednesday night after a late-night chase ended with a crash into a business along Oro Dam Boulevard in Oroville.

OROVILLE, Calif. - Oroville CHP says officers arrested a Bay Area driver and a passenger after she crashed into an Oroville business.
The CHP says the incident started just before midnight Wednesday when an officer tried to pull over a white Honda Accord after its driver made an illegal u-turn.
