Climate Neutral decreasing beauty industry carbon emissions

The nonprofit works with businesses across industry sectors to measure, offset, and reduce carbon emissions. 8 beauty brands have been certified Climate Neutral over the past year and more are signing on for 2021. Several health and beauty brands are among the nearly 200 brands certified Climate Neutral in 2020. Those include the newly launched hair brand Everist​, which the Cosmetics Design audience will recall from Co-Founder Jayme Jenkins’ recent 5Insights video about product format innovation. Other health and beauty brands that received the Climate Neutral certification last year are Maison Louis Marie, Nécessaire, Osea, Patchology, Saie, Vintner’s Daughter, and Und Gretel.
