We will have as many as eight petitions pending before the justice involving cases that we have filled and i think that is probably the most of any Public Interest legal organization. We have seven straight wins in the Supreme Court. So we hope to extend that string of victories this term. And finally, scoutus blog has noted we are the most famous brief filers for the court. They are saying the Voting Rights justification says section five is no longer in effect and you should not be able to defend the deviations that have a pattern of difference between the majority districts based on the statues that are no longer enforceable. If that argument is accepted there is a lot more maps around the country subject to challenge. The other argument is that is a sham, it was done for partisan reasons, contrary to the finding and fact of the District Court, and that is an interesting argument in addition to the fact it defies the ruling of the District Court in terms of the facts. The amount of partisanship is so small it is tiny compared to maps that have been upheld by the Supreme Court in previous cases. What you have here is an effort to use these minor deviations in populations to ratchet up the level of scrutiny in the drawing of district maps to the point where you would have a double standard.
