A popular pub and bookshop are set to be cleaned up as part of a huge effort to improve Hanley s reputation by business leaders.
Named Operation Sparkle, the idea is to bring back footfall post pandemic and will see inspections of trouble hotspots such as the bus station, old Crown Bank toilets site and the area around Parliament Row.
