Major update 2: Shane Bowden homicide investigation Police have today charged a further seven men with murder as part of ongoing investigations into the shooting death of 47-year-old Shane Bowden last year. Detectives from the Gold Coast District, Crime and Intelligence Command, including Homicide and the Organised Crime Gangs Group, and other specialised police, executed eight search warrants at Pimpama, Redland Bay, Underwood, Upper Coomera, Helensvale and Wanora in relation to Operation Sierra Arch.  The Operation was commenced after Mr Bowden was shot in the driveway of a residence on Cox Road, Pimpama at around 12.10am on Monday, October 12, 2020. Raids carried out by police today culminated in the arrest of eight people.
