Two C-130J military transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force brought to Jeddah 256 Indians from Port Sudan on Wednesday, a day after an Indian Navy ship rescued 278 citizens from that country.The fifth batch of 297 stranded Indians departed from Port Sudan for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia by INS Teg on Thursday. Over 400 stranded Indians have left crisis hit Sudan as part of Operation Kaveri. Over 3 batches of the Indians have left the country as India carries out Operation Kaveri.
