Crowd Supply Teams Up With Microchip and Mouser to Present the 2021 Get Launched Design Program
April 26, 2021 – Crowd Supply, the leading product development platform connecting hardware creators with enthusiastic backers, is proud to join forces with Mouser Electronics and Microchip Technology for the Microchip Get Launched Design Program. Get Launched is designed to provide technical, promotional, and material assistance to developers using Microchip components. It’s a start-up and incubator support program that helps creators and their companies accelerate time-to-production and time-to-market with Microchip’s innovative new product concepts. The program is a partnership between Crowd Supply, Microchip and Mouser. Participating creators receive support from all three.
DiGiCo delivers Quantum power for Gorillaz live stream UK – In mid-December, Gorillaz returned to the stage with ‘Song Machine Live From Kong’ for three separate fully live shows performed from the basement of Kong Studios, West London over the course of two days. Over a million viewers in more than 120 countries tuned in to the show via the LIVENow platform, which featured a pioneering mix of animation and live performance.
The format was fitting for the biggest virtual band on the planet, ‘Song Machine Live From Kong’ saw Gorillaz deliver a full scale production blending exciting real-time performance with Jamie Hewlett’s unique animation. Audio was delivered by the band’s long-time engineers Dave Guerin, at his usual monitor position, and front of house man Matt Butcher on the live steam mix, both using DiGiCo Quantum 7s provided by Entec Sound & Light. Martin Audio Sound Adventures Supports INSPIRE Onmyoji Theatre Production Japan – The theatre production of INSPIRE Onmyoji, starring famous Japanese actor Takao Osawa, ran at the 1,300-capacity Nissei Theatre in Tokyo from 31st December 2020 to 6th January 2021. This number was reduced slightly to conform to the Government’s COVID regulations at that time.
A Umeda Arts Theater production, the show was scripted by Brazily Anne Yamada, Takaya Okamoto, NatsuTeranishi and directed by Junya Yamada. Takao Osawa performed the role of Japanese ancient wizard ‘Onmyoji’, with next generation video, sound and lighting effects, making full use of latest technologies. This included Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision platform (WPM) and Sound Adventures immersive 3D, with all outputs controlled by the SARA II Premium rendering engine.
