Dimapur, Nov. 1 (EMN): Sixty four wrestlers have registered for the 2nd Open Chakhesang Naga Wrestling Championship 2022 to be held on November 4 at Pfutsero Sports Complex, Phek district. Also, 16 wrestlers have registered for the Under-14 open wrestling championship to be held on November 3, an update informed. Both the 2nd open Chakhesang Naga wrestling championship and Under-14 open wrestling championship is being organised by the Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) under the aegis of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA). Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA, and Neikhrolo Khalo, vice president of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) will grace the championship on November 4 as the special guest and guest of honour respectively. Former NWA champion and advisor, CWA, Chisazo Dawhuo, will grace the under-14 championship as an opening guest on November 3.
Dimapur, Oct. 24 (EMN): Under the aegis of the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA), the 2nd Open Chakhesang Naga Wrestling Championship 2022 and Under-14 Naga Open Wrestling Championship is all set to be held on November 3 and 4 at Pfutsero sports complex. An update informed that the event will be organised by the Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) in collaboration with the ‘4th edition of the peace marathon’ to be hosted by the Kalos Society, Pfutsero. Former president of CWA, Vekhosa Ruho, will be the special guest in the Under-14 championship to be held on November 3. Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA, and Neikhrolo Khalo, vice president of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) will attend the championship on November 4 as special guest and guest of honour respectively. The ‘Peace marathon race’ will also take place on November 3 and the race, which will be launched simultaneously at Sakraba and Porba, will culminate at Pfutsero Sports complex, it stated. The Under-14 championship is
