MARQUETTE A Qigong sequence created just for Meditate Marquette by Melissa Middleton from Awakenings to cultivate centeredness is being offered from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday via Zoom.
Qigong is a moving meditation practice (related to tai chi) that integrates mind, body and breath. Be ready for a practice session in loose comfortable clothing that includes standing and gentle movement. All exercises could be completed seated in a chair if a participant’s body needs accommodation.
The sequence will be enriching for those with prior experience and also accessible for those new to Qigong. Middleton has been teaching Qigong, meditation, mindfulness and other mind-body practices since 2011 through Awakenings. Email meditatemarquette@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
