Commissioner koskinen we recognize, all of us know people who are either dont have availability to the internet or have really a great concern about using it. Were always willing and able to provide them those services. Going forward i would just stress well always have Call Services available. Well always have inperson services available. An Early Morning collision under investigation. One of septas 26 cars crashed into another parked at 69th street terminal injuring 42 people. There should have been an indicator that there was a train on that track. The engineer says investigators will look at everything from the on Board Technology signed to avoid a collision to the trains latest inspection reports. Automatic train control is supposed to slow or a train from speeding. He wants to know why it didnt. Two of the things i would certainly want to check would be the operator and also the braking system. This morning we asked for the latest inspection records from the norristown high speed line. Everything from track inspections to the passenger cars. Regulators from the federal Transit Administration and penndot pointed to septa to provide them, but officials said they wouldnt be able to release them today. Investigators will likely also look into passenger reports that the cars stops before crashing at the 69th street term
