People have made to congress to buttress the russian side of the collusion investigation. Thank you for that. We thank you for watching this hour of msnbc live throughout, i mean, from the very beginning craig melvin whos about to pick up our coverage from the day that Robert Mueller was appointed thrappoin appointed, this story has never been far from the headlines. Among these many days, this is huge. This is an infection pointing deep. Were going to continue our coverage. Good morning, craig melvin, msnbc headquarters here in new york city. That Breaking News on the Mueller Investigation is where we start. Shortly before President Trump left for his meeting with World Leaders in argentina, last hour just a few moments ago he called his onetime attorney and fixer Michael Cohen a quote, weak person, who is lying. Cohen made a surprise appearance in a Federal Courtroom in manhattan this morning. He named the president. He named President Trump in a shocking new plea deal involving Trum
some of the things that have been passed over and waved away over the past several years and that we keep seeing repeatedly and ongoingly. and it s not just about the trump phenomenon but other things as well but related things, uses of power within horrific ways within the church and outside the church. there are a lot of people who feel homeless. they feel as though they don t fit into a neat category when it comes to their political party or their church tradition. i actually think that s a good thing. i think we ve been too closely tied to those identities, and it s kept us from seeing the fact that christianity really is about being different, about walking in step with the kingdom of god, not with any set of party or denominational bosses. and if that s the beginning of something new, then i welcome it. robert gibbs. yeah, let me ask you one question. you talk a little here about
happening today, small crowds waving. i think we ve seen small crowds waving red flags and carrying flowers. ukrainian activists in kherson, jill, being told have clamimd russia brought in people from crimea to bolster the numbers. from president zelenskyy as we ve seen in kherson, this russification here. how worried should president zelenskyy be given what we heard from president putin today that this could go on for sometime? i would think that is a conclusion that we have to draw, it would go on for a long time. there is no real definition here. in the beginning people were saying, well, maybe he could declare a victory, or maybe it s all-out conflict with nato. and neither really happened, although he moved in the nato direction, i think. it was very much we don t want war, but we were forced into,
country where there is one leader who is keeping a terrorist regime over his own people and also the neighboring countries of europe. and i think this is a goal to work towards and essentially no resources may be spared toward that. i mean, ukraine has been calling for weapons, has been calling on for economic sanctions and for economic support of ukraine. and all of these things need to be happening, ongoingly, but also pretty much quickly because time is of the essence here, and time is going to be working against all of us if we don t act quickly and efficiently, and if we don t act now. ukrainian member of parliament. appreciate your perspective. thank you very much. thank you. president putin s defiant message comes hours after some of the world s wealthiest countries slapped sanctions on
where donald trump has broken his promises because ohio, michigan and pennsylvania actually in the latest jobs data have lost jobs, not gained them. not only that, what we have to recognize is that not only did the mueller report point out ten different instances where the president obstructed justice or tried to, and he made that call to president zelenskiy of the ukraine, but he is ongoingly in an ongoing way violating his oath of office and abusing his power. we have to impeach this president, and the majority of americans not only support impeachment, they support removal. he should be removed. mayor buttigieg, you have said that impeachment should be bipartisan. there s been obviously very little republican support to date, yet democrats are proceeding. is that a mistake? well, it s a mistake on the part of republicans who enable a president whose actions are as offensive to their own supposed values as the values we all
