That scoop, that headline changed everything. It certainly changed the course of the Midterm Elections. In that moment, the stakes of the upcoming november election, they skyrocketed. It gave democrats over a month and a half a head start to start campaigning on that issue before the opinion was handed down in late june. And on june 24th, the Supreme Court struck down roe v. Wade.
