something to watch and something officials say to be worried about. again, that s rare. i want to point out, we re standing in the middle of what normally is a dry street in the middle of downtown davenport, there s a traffic light above me, several behind me, a railroad crossing, yet here i am basically standing in the waters of the mississippi. typically the banks are hundreds of yards that way. they have been moving up like a city block every day. we re here in davenport, river levels cresting here not expected to happen until monday. this is kind of the epitome of what our team has been calling the slow motion disaster, and i do want to point out, this is obviously a riverside community. they flood to some degree, almost every year. so in a lot of ways they re used to it. even people who have been through this several times before say it s becoming very apparent to them that this one could be historic and it could be dangerous. take a listen. it s crazy to think about it s blocks
