The Ondo State government has filed an appeal against a judgement of the state high court, ordering it to pay a 36-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Olusegun Oluwarotimi N30 million compensation. The court in Akure last Wednesday ordered the government to pay N30 million to Oluwasegun as compensation for the disability caused by a shot fired by the state’s security network agency code-named Amotekun in August 2021.
