going on in england but this is clearly consuming him. he has now been for the better part of the last two days completely consumed personally pushing back against omarosa s claims in her book. jeffrey toobin, we ll transition out of this in a second but we were talking to josh dawson about these non-disclosure agreements. clearly omarosa isn t respecting any non-disclosure agreements. she said she had one with him when she was an apprentice performer, didn t sign one after the white house, that would be binding? not on a public official i don t think. but also and there was one fabulous when you were talking to josh from the washington post which i thought was a great surreal donald trump moment. imagine the white house counsel, the chief lawyer in the white house going to employees saying the president wants you to sign this, it doesn t mean anything,
president s purposes with this book because she i mean, there is only one person, maybe other than rudy giuliani, who has less credibility than the president. so, for someone with that little credibility then to attack the president somewhat enhances his standing. it creates the soap opera type of dramas, the play as you said, on which trump thrives. if she becomes a witness for mueller, she s a tainted witness. she s a dubious witness. so all of this in a sense serves in a kind of medicine served the president s purposes of creating a soap opera-like distraction from what really ought to be concerning us, which is the state of the country and america s relationship with the rest of the world. we know trump doesn t care about that. what i find so of intriguing about her recording with kelly isn t that she recorded it. people have been of course you don t take phones into the sit room, no one does. obviously they do. they seem to do everything other than you don t fire anybody
wanted. right. it was a job she did try to do, and many of us gave her a very difficult time because she tried to get me to meet with him and others, and we wouldn t. so and who has she been replaced with? kellyanne conway can t even think of a name who is in the white house. so as much as all of us look at at omarosa with some disdain, she was in a position that a position not anyone really wanted to be in and she tried to make it work, because like he said, she spoke highly of him. the larger question about omarosa isn t how she left the white house. it s how she got into the white house to begin with. i mean, that s really what we ought to be why are his kids there? that questions goes to everybody. why is hope hicks there? i have a counter intuitive theory which is that omarosa is actually continuing to serve the
watch. this it s one thing to talk to jesus. it s another thing when jesus talks to you. exactly. that s different. [applause] that s different. that s called mental illness if i m not correct. hearing voices. my question is can he talk to mary magdalene without his wife in the room? martha: wow. mark, what do you think. let me tell you my view before the break you said omarosa had a story to tell she has a story she wants to sell. i will be honest with you here. i m not aware of any meeting or significant interaction she has ever had with the vice president of the united states. just because you say something on reality tv doesn t mean it has anything to do with reality. martha: so the word is that she was removed, she was fired from her job at the white house because she was using the car service, which is supposed to be reserved for emergencies, pretty much as her daily chauffeur to get her back and forth from work, right? i mean, i read those accounts today. i m not a
and she is back, folks, omarosa promised that she would not go quietly when she was let go from the white house. she is holding true to that now she is going after vice president mike pence during her appearance where else would she be? celebrity big brother. watch. you would be worried about pence? oh, i know. so everybody that s wishing for impeachment being might want to reconsider their life. absolutely. we woulden begging for days of trump back if pence became president. that s all i m going to say. he is extreme. i m christian. i love jesus. but he thinks jesus tells him to say things. i m like jesus didn t say that. martha: okay. now here mark water former secretary to vice president pence who i m sure probably would never be talking about this topic. she was hired by the white house for a year so she was there i want to also show you joy behar on the view because this was pretty priceless as well.
