And youll notice that difference today. First of all, its a little cloudier out there, not just for the coastline, either, but youre seeing those partly cloudy skies a little further inland. We saw that low gray. Its lifted. So visibility is you see here on fog cast is not a concern for most areas. Were just looking up at some of those gray skies and thats kept temperatures cool. San jose. Youre at 67 right now. Oakland, it only 62. Well, pittsburgh, brentwood vacaville among our spots that have broken back into the 70s. Now, as we move through the day today, youll notice mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and temperatures, especially inland. See, you see tons of people out here with their dogs in their robes. I saw one woman caring just 3 or 4 bags of her personal belongings. And of course, you have a lot of looking lewers from buildings next door. And from my understanding, i spoke with somebody who says that theyre in the building next to the building that was evacuated. They were also evacuated as well. From where im standing at this angle. I dont necessarily see any type of you know, aid services or a trucks here right now. But again, im only on one. And when it comes to, you know, the fire hoses were talking, at least i would say 10 that are out here right now with more than i would say, 3 dozen fire officials out on the scene. What we are seeing is a little break from that summer heat as we kick off august today. First day of the month and the first 3 days of this new month or going to stay cool. Your view outside from mount tam showing you that view from above the cloud cover little hint at what some of us will see later on today. We do have a lot of that low stratus hanging out further inland. So youre noticing that as youre getting outside that cool marine layer, though, part of the reason why we are going to be on that cooler side of things even into the afternoon 50s 60s for current temperatures, not budging much through the morning. A massive fire in San Franciscos hayes valley neighborhood. Just how many buildings are being checked for damage. And the very latest details on the fire coming up in a live report. A mans body was found following a fire near i 9. 80, in oakland. That fire was reported shortly before one 30 this morning. Chp says the Oakland Fire Department saw a man starting the fire in the westbound lane of the 17th street offramp. Firefighters later found a burn victim with head trauma at the offramp. That offramp is now reopened. All lanes are open as well. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, fire crews have contained a massive fire in the citys hayes valley neighborhood. 8 people have been displaced.
