The 10th-ranked Arkansas men’s golf team will close the regular season by playing at the Aggie Invitational this weekend (April 9-10) at Traditions Club (par 72, 7,227 yards) in Bryan, Texas.
The Arkansas men’s golf program fired a final-round, 8-under-par round of 280 and the fifth-ranked Razorbacks finished eighth (846) at the Arizona N.I.T., played at the par 72, 7,200-yard Omni Tucson National - Catalina Course.
Julian Perico shot a season-low 65 (-6) and jumped 22 spots to tie for 12 while Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira recorded his fifth top 10 (in six events) to lead #7 Arkansas to a fourth-place finish at the Cabo Collegiate, presented by CFO4Life, with a 28-under-par score of 824, four shots off the winning total.
Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira carded a career-best, 6-under-par 65, climbed 17 spots into a tie for second and led #7 Arkansas to a 7-under-par round of 277 to move the Razorbacks into a tie for third after 36 holes at the Cabo Collegiate, presented by CFO4Life.
Luke Long fired a 2-under-par 70 and moved up four spots into a tie for 10th after 36 holes at the Watersound Invitational, played at Shark’s Tooth Golf Course.
