GREEN BAY, Wis. – The NFL Draft is almost here. The Green Bay Packers own the 29th pick of the first round. Here are five possibilities, with the help of four NFL scouts.
Oklahoma State OT Teven Jenkins: While one source said “the recent intel” is that Jenkins would be gone somewhere between No. 18 and No. 23, three others believed Jenkins would fall into range. He didn’t allow a sack the past two seasons and helped power Chuba Hubbard’s 2,000-yard rushing season. His tackle-guard versatility would provide key flexibility from Day 1 and an eventual starter at right tackle.
“If I was going to be the guy this year, I’d have to be a mother on the field, be a dickhead, be more aggressive than I ever was, and I took that personally,” Jenkins said at pro day.

That said, after numerous conversations with decision-makers around the league and talks with agents, here’s what I think.
First-Round Receiver Is Realistic Option
The Packers could deliver that long-awaited first-round receiver to Aaron Rodgers. In fact, just about every agent that I’ve spoke to predicted they’d take a receiver, including a few agents who have first-round prospects at other positions but not one at receiver. To me, that was interesting.

CLEVELAND, Ohio The Browns are so ready for the NFL Draft and so organized, that GM Andrew Berry’s wife Brittan even had their third child, Eden Ruth, at 8:10 a.m. Thursday eight hours before the start of the draft.
Talk about efficient!
It enabled Berry to not only be there for the special delivery, but also to run the draft Thursday night from Browns headquarters in Berea, and to be front and center to make the No. 26 overall pick. The question is, what will the Browns do with that pick?

The NFL Draft will take place from April 29 through May 1 in Cleveland, Ohio.
For many, the Super Bowl signifies the end of the football season. For me, it’s the beginning of the next season, as we get to start scouting rookies for the incoming class, bury ourselves into the depth charts to see what teams might need in free agency, and once that’s done, figure out what they might do in the draft.
Well, we’ve reached the point where most fans return, even if it’s for just a few days. The NFL Draft symbolizes a brand-new season for many fans, as they are able to look up scouting reports on the players their team has drafted, allowing them to be optimistic, even if it’s short lived.
