This is so as more evidences emerge in justification of the alleged link of Nigeria’s Communications minister, Dr. Isa Pantami to terrorism. The latest calls were triggered by a publication on Nairaland.com, which recently surfaced online detailing the minutes of a meeting allegedly chaired by Pantami in 2010, and organized to control the spread of Christianity in the North. Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, was again embroiled in religious controversies on Wednesday following violent clashes between Christians and Muslims over the use of Hijabs in Government Secondary Schools. The violence was said to have erupted after school officials at Baptist School, Surulere, barred female students wearing Hijab from entering the school. The decision to deny Muslim students access into the school premises caused the pandemonium which led to violent face-offs. The development had since sparked debates among social media users, as many Nigerians queried the state government’s decision to impose the wearing of Hijab in Christian mission schools.

Nigerians on social media on Saturday reacted massively to the report that Benin Republic is willing to cease from being a country and becoming Nigeria’s 37th state. Many users received with shock, the revelation which came by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.
