college simply skip the bill. and it would affect all tax paying americans, especially those who did it the right way and paid off their debt through hard work. the total cost of the hand-out an estimated $4 hundred billion over the next few decades. so we ll spend likely longer than they had to pay off some of those loans. biden says it is all legal for him to do based on the higher education relief opportunities for students act. and just so you know, that act allows for federal loan modification. but only during a national emergency. now remember, even though president biden has said the pandemic is over, he is keeping that emergency declaration for covid until may. does that emergency power for higher education give president biden the power to pay off student loans with our money? some of those loans are decades old. with the covid emergency ending very soon, possibly over anyway. some say no. the covid emergency is over. he is using that as an excuse hoping that he ca
Well, i might not even start them. Oh, good olds hospitality. Good morning, happy tuesday , matt, always good to see you. Looking outside. We do have one accident out there, otherwise just construction. And no real rain just yet here in fill. But it is starting to move into the area. It is going to be affecting us pretty much throughout the entire day. So there is storm scan3, again , not too much maybe coming down in philly right just yet. We are still seeing plenty of showers, and even a couple every rumbles every thunder here early on this morning on storm scan three you can see the precipitation all the way from the poconos back down toward the maryland line. We zoom in little closer to philly we are actually getting couple of little lightning bolts pop upright around the Philadelphia County area up into month co, and thats the chance for, again, maybe some rumbles every thunder early on this morning, we will be watching this rain to continue through much of the rest of the day. Has ended and federal workers will head back to work at least for now. The majority of Senate Democrats signed onto a brokered bipartisan deal to fund the government for another three weeks. Its in exchange for a promise to vote on daca protections for dreamers. If lawmakers cant reach a broader immigration deal by the time funding runs out. As long as the government remains open, it would be my intention to take up legislation here in the senate that would address daca, border security, and related issues. We expect that a bipartisan bill on daca will receive fair consideration and an up or down vote on the floor. And while there are those celebrating the government reopening this morning, some progressives are casting blame instead, zeroing in on the democratic leader in the senate, chuck schumer, for what they deemed a massive concession to republicans. Im disillusioned. I think theyre caving. You know, democrats are pretty good at articulating values, but a little weak on defending
A few people talk to her. Shes frustrated. She has no choice but to get in the passenger side. She struggles to get across what a presume is a small, tight cabin. For the best part, the people recording this video also the people that parked the car right where its at. When shes finally in her seat, after all of that work, the guy in this car gets out and walks over to his prius. He gets in the car. She notices, oh, goodness, hes here. She rolls her window down and is trying to give him a talkin to, but he just takes off. Maybe she will learn and not do this again and maybe this person is going to learn how to Parallel Park perfectly so this doesnt happen again because this driver this is attempt number five. Is having a little bit of a difficult time figuring out how Parallel Parking works. Define parallel to this person. This is perpendicular parking. I know. So this person tries and tries and tries again. Eventually giving up. Just as the car in the front gets there, and drives off.
Hes said to be honored with a Lifetime Achievement award at this weekends grammys. He plans to remain active in writing and recording for a long time to come. Well, last night bill cosby performed for the first time in public since the sex abuse scandal that embroiled him in 2015. He appeared for about an hour at philadelphia jazz club. He told stories and honored old friends but interestingly enough he made no mention of the dozens of pending allegations of assault. And wore a sweatshirt that said hello friend, something that his late son used to say. He joked that he used to be a comedian. He ended the set by playing the drums along with the band. Step back into the spotlight taking the stage there and over the weekend on his social media account, he posted a picture where he was supporting the eagles. So maybe trying to come back to the public eye. The retrial is scheduled for april 2 on charge thats drugged and molested a woman at his home in 2004. Cosby, free on bail, has pleaded
