Air attacks and gunfire across the capital city left 42 people dead and many more wounded. 130 people have been arrested. Officials say the coo appears to have failed. The chaos continues. Turkish military say they fully seized control of the country. Tanks surrounded the istanbul airport. Bridges connecting the city were shut down. President urged people to take to the streets in opposition to the attempted coo. Many did as shots rang out across instant bull late in the night. Cease an thor tear 81 by secular turks fiercely supported by others and repeatedly elected. It was unclear how much of the military unvolted they portrayed themselves as liberators. They acted to reinstall the constitutional order, democracy, human rights and freedoms.
