Boys Industrial School superintendent mansion set for demolition

The mansion currently sits on the property of the Southeastern Correctional Complex along B.I.S. Road.  According to a classified ad that ran in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette, the SCC is looking to demolish the building at no cost.  Business Administrator Chuck Ressley said the SCC has no use for the building, which is currently in disarray.  There was no reason to put money into that, Ressley said. We tried to get the historical society to take it over. Due to the expense of it, it would ve been several million dollars to get that building up to par, and then what do we use it for?
