Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a homicide that occurred last October in Columbus.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2020, Columbus police were dispatched to a home on the 1400 block of Briarwood Avenue in North Linden after receiving an anonymous tip about a deceased male inside.
Officers responding to the scene found 27-year-old Joel Chatman, who had sustained a gunshot wound and was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Court records indicate Chatman was a resident of the Northeast Side and did not live at the home where his body was found.
Crime Stoppers offering reward in Hilliard burglary
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a burglary suspect.
According to Hilliard police, a man broke into a Hilliard home on Dec. 7 and stole more than $5,000 worth of jewelry, as well as a credit card and other items.
The stolen credit card was later used to purchase items at a convenience store in the Whitehall area.
