The incident happened at around 7this evening. Steve the big rig was towing an empty trailer when it collided with a temporary concrete rail on the eastbound side of interstate 580 in richmond. The collision caused both the truck and trailer to overturn. One lane has remained open. While there are certain closures at the scene in order for crews to clear it.
