SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - The Tennessee Department of Health reported 1,636 new coronavirus cases and 65 additional deaths statewide Tuesday afternoon.
Tennessee has had a total of 747,462 cases and 10,631 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
The state’s current active case count is about 26,000 as of Tuesday and 1,293 Tennesseans are hospitalized due to complications with the virus.

Tennessee reported 793,078 COVID-19 vaccinations as of Friday. More than 8 percent of the state’s population have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - The Tennessee Department of Health reported 2,387 new COVID-19 cases Sunday with six additional deaths.
Tennessee has had more than 774,600 total cases and 10,469 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
About 705,492 of those cases are now considered inactive.
The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is 744,600 as of February 7, 2021 including 10,469 deaths, 1,314 current hospitalizations and 705,492 are inactive/recovered. SCHD: COVID-19 vaccines now available for ages 70+ in Shelby Co.

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - Coronavirus vaccines are now available to those ages 70 and up in Shelby County. The health department made this announcement Thursday morning.

The health department reported 220 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday and 22 more deaths. The Shelby County Health Department said the new deaths reported range between December 2, 2020, to February 1, 2021.
