TDH reports over 2,000 new COVID-19 cases in Tennessee

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - The Tennessee Department of Health reported 2,387 new COVID-19 cases Sunday with six additional deaths.
Tennessee has had more than 774,600 total cases and 10,469 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
About 705,492 of those cases are now considered inactive.
The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is 744,600 as of February 7, 2021 including 10,469 deaths, 1,314 current hospitalizations and 705,492 are inactive/recovered.
