yes, nikki haley so desperate to be held that she came out in the last 24 hours against vaccine mandates. susan del percio, speaking of trumpism, how ugly with the one six committee get before it is over. and as a percentage of what they want, how much will they get from these witnesses? i think that they are going to get a lot more than they did from the impeachment hearings. mostly because a lot of people are afraid of criminal charges being brought up against them if they do not comply with the subpoenas. and trump is no longer in office, and they know that trump will not be loyal to them. will not cover for them. will not pay for their legal bills. so people are going to come forward. when it comes to trump specifically that is going to be, certainly, a challenge. i do not see people being there for him. knowing that he won t be there

you know, if you have an unpopular guy, and, you know, how long did they run against, you know, nancy pelosi? that s been done in american politics forever. it is going to continue to be done. people are not looking for a three-point plan or a five-point plan and that nonsense. you have to let people know what is at stake here. i think so far it has worked pretty well, but it is you know, there s a lot of football between now and next november. you have been critical of a faction of the democratic party and their wokeness. based on the campaign that newsom ran painting larry elder as a symbol of trumpism, looking at that race do you still think that political wokeness is a real concern for democrats and what s the future on that? well, we haven t heard, you know, we didn t hear any of that out of california. i don t hear any of that in virginia. none of this is defund the police, latinx.
playbook of trumpism, which tries to divide us by identity rather than unite us by ideals. i believe it s opposite of trumpism. fighting side by side with our muslim allies for 20 years. i, myself, wish we would leave a few thousand troops there to help them against terrorism. that s not our adventurism or b bigotry. that s honest conduct from american policy. if you re defending a war we ve been fighting for 20 years and another war that we fought for 18 years, then we have to keep having this conversation about whether or not our foreign policy is consistent with our ideals. and i m glad that s a conversation we re having in the democratic party, because our ideals of justice, our ideals of human dignity, our ideals of human rights suggest we should not be engaging and involving ourselves in ways that take innocent lives. i ll stand by that any idea and president biden would stand by that, as would i think speaker
