The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said Thursday that the estimated number of fish that died in rivers and waterways after the Feb. 3 train derailment is now in excess of 40,000.
The train derailment and spillage of toxic chemicals in East Palestine on Feb. 3 has resulted in the deaths of 3,500 fish, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources estimates.
