Also ice safety. This is a good one to keep in mind especially if you have kids after school thinking about going out and playing hockey on a pond or Something Like that. No ice is completely safe. You should only go out on ice thats monitored which in most cases is not around here and it needs to be four to 7inches thick to walk on the thickness varies especially this afternoon as we get up to about 40 for a high. This afternoon however were going to go well above freezing and i want to remind you you got to be really careful around icy ponds and streams. No ice is completely safe. You should only go out on ice thats mon to. Around here that means basically no ice being monitored and ice needs to be 4inches to 7inches thick to walk on. Thickness will be very iffy because were getting above the freezing mark by quite a bit. Stay off the ice. Overnight cloud cover thinning out so i expect a lot of sunshine to start the day.
