Supreme court said the way we decide whether or not someone goes to death row is not constitutional because we leave it up to the judge instead of a jury. The u. S. Supreme court today handed down their decision based on a case from the panhandle. In that case, the jury was divided on the death sentence because the judge imposed it anyway and the justice said a system that allows that is unconstitutional. The florida Supreme Court, lawmakers and the attorney general, have a lot of decisions to make in order to figure out what comes next. All of my attorneys are trying to deny the opinion and see if we need a legislative change, whether it will affect people who have been sentenced to death and pending death cases.
