Cameras, videotaping and photographing. A mother whale and its calf spent hours out here in the inlet, just swimming around, wandering around. Tonight, fish and wildlife has a boat stationed out here to keep boaters away from them and everybody is hoping that the mother and the calf will swim underneath this bridge right here and back out to sea. This is a whale of a video. Debbie took this video of a 45 foot endangered north atlantic right whale in sebastian outlet today. The mother whale has an 18 foot calf with her. Folks first saw them before 10 00 this morning and the duo stayed all day long. When i was shooting the video, to me, the way it laid across the top, it reminded me of a huge eel. However, building out to the west and northwest you can see the big area of rain, thunderstorms, lots of lightning.
