However, harmful policies from democratrun states have only made the problem worse. At a time when we should be encouraging the safe reopening of our economy, kentuckys governor recently issued an order shutting down schools and indoor dining. Kentuckys restaurants were already suffering from the last round of shutdowns. And this shortsighted order will only cause more pain and suffering. To make matters worse, our governor is producing no data to justify the need to shut down businesses which have dramatically adjusted to the challenges presented by covid19. Some governors have deemed Liquor Stores and abortion clinics is essential, but have left out churches and other houses of worship, its not right. So i am correcting this injustice am calling houses of worship essential. I call upon governors to allow churches and places of worship to open right now. If there is any question, they will have to call me, but they are not going to be successful in that call. These are places that hold our society together and keep our people united.
