appointments. they re not supposed to put their finger up to the wind and see which way it s going. they re not supposed to take into account the political consequences or the polls, and i know some are saying, as you discussed this is undemocratic to take the matter away from voters. i think it s undemocratic to allow people to run for office who aren t qualified to do so. if barack obama announced he was running for president this year, republicans would light their hair on fire, and they would have a point. the 22nd amendment to the constitution says you have a maximum of two terms. he does not qualify to run, even though the voters may want him. and trump, ironically, builds his political brand on saying that obama didn t qualify to run because he wasn t a natural born citizen. of course he was. but you can t say the natural born citizen clause applies but the insurrectionist clause does not. they are all qualifications to run for president and you can t ignore one of them because

president harris, you come to the job without a lot of experience in washington. i think that s kind of what she s been doing. learning all about policy, learning about how the levers of power work in the city, the president s daily brief and all the things you do, except make news, which you are not supposed to do. in that video that i referred to, yamiche, she appears more than a dozen times. it s very clear what the strategy is. it s partly because of his age. they have to build her up so that people don t vote against him out of concern that his running mate couldn t take over if something were to happen. it s interesting how much she is featured when you think back to 2012 where obama didn t have his name or an image of him in his re-elect launch video.
well what line does anybody have? at this point? i think ron desantis is still trying to figure out his lane. nikki haley, mike pompeo. none of them really have established their lane because the person who is running the entire republican party is donald trump. so when you know people thought in 2008 obama didn t have a lane and then look what happened. he was our president, so it s in american politics, like history is really important. but we re playing in a whole new political landscape, and i just don t think anyone can say for sure. they know where people will fall . he should have a lame if anyone has a claim to offer to representing trumpism without donald trump, it s mike pence. um plus being a genuine evangelical who stood up for the constitution to the fact that he is so demonized by such a large segment of the trump base. i would say, i think speaks badly to the situation. republicans find themselves in now, okay? can we talk about one of the most intriguing things to come
