A $10,000 corporate donation to Oakton College in Des Plaines will fund an endowed scholarship, the school announced.
The money came from Acuity Brands, which includes Des Plaines-based Juno Lighting.
The Oakton College Educational Foundation Board of Directors has been selected to receive the John W. Nason Award for Board Leadership by the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleg.
