A seasonal milestone will take place in Plano this year: the city’s outdoor pools will be open this summer in addition to indoor pools.
Last summer, the pandemic shuttered all of the city’s outdoor pools. The decision to close the pools was made partly due to concerns about social distancing. But this year, outdoor pools will be open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, the city stated in an email.
