Reporter Hurricane Matthew is still pummeling the florida coast with powerful wind and rain but so far, the state has been spared a direct hit and Florida Governor rick scott is calling it a blessing. Hurricane matthew with its 120 mileanhour winds is lashing Floridas Atlantic coast. The storm is bringing y northern half of the state. This is still a really dangerous hurricane that the potential for storm surge, flooding, loss of life, and severe Property Damage continues to exist. Reporter more than half a Million People are without power after wind gusts approached 100 Miles Per Hour overnight. Its really important that we get power restored as quickly as we can. Reporter matthews eye is just off shore and moving wall could impact hundreds of miles of shoreline while the storms flooding rains spread well inland.
