To have the southbound lanes highway 101 number one and number two lanes open at the embarcadero overpass by 1 00. It all depends what cal trans determines. They have been atop there examining the damage caused by a dump truck that collided with the overpass last night. The impact was so strong it created a crack in the concrete that is 27 feet wide, according to chp. Local cal trans engineers first inspected the damage between 1 00 and 2 00 this morning and around 9 30 workers started ching away the loose concrete.
