Two of last year’s most impressive two-year-olds were in qualifying action on Tuesday morning at Harrah’s Philadelphia – one won impressively while the other had a useful tightener returning from injury.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park hosted the penultimate leg of Indiana Sire Stakes for freshman trotters on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Three divisions for two-year-old trotting colts and two for trotting fillies highlighted the evening's 14-race card.
Jimmy Freight, the pacing Free-For-Aller who has been absent from the racetrack since winning the Gold Cup at Woodbine Mohawk Park on June 18, turned in a 1:50.4 qualifying victory at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Wednesday morning (Aug. 16).
The trip was sweet and the end result was even sweeter for Twin B Archie who powered to another OSS Gold Series triumph Monday evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
