After introducing hydroponic farming to the school in October, Barry Elementary School in Yuba City reaped over 21 pounds of lettuce during its third produce harvest on Monday.

This aspect can be experienced in some form in our community in almost every business or organization’s front office that we enter. Listening to customers is the best way to learn how things are going, what expectations are being held, and how one can best build stronger relationships with the people they serve.
Students and staff were treated to nutritious organic local produce and recipes on Monday at a Farm 2 Cafeteria rally at Pajaro Valley High School. All the produce used at the event was grown within 15 miles of the school. Founded in 2021, Farm 2 Cafeteria provides student-prepared organic salads to fellow students each week.
