February 11 marks the celebration of 2-1-1. Across North America United Way Centraide, local service providers and their supporters use this day as an opportunity to raise awareness of this valuable service in the community. Locally this partnership includes United Way Hastings Prince Edward, Community Navigation of Eastern Ontario and Volunteer& Information HPE (VIQ). National Volunteer Week began in 1974 as a way to recognize and celebrate the efforts of volunteers.
